Using this antivirus software, you can either auto-scan or manually scan your computer for viruses. But, when Bitdefender won’t scan your computer, it indicates an issue. If the Bitdefender software refuses to scan your computer even after the installation is done correctly, check whether you have already enabled the default security software (for example, Windows Defender) or any other security program on your computer. Basically, you can use only one security software at a time on your Windows or Mac computer. However, you can install two or more software based on your desire. To use one particular software, you have to disable the remaining security software. So, disable the default (or any other) security software on your computer, and then run the virus scan operation using the Bitdefender software.
