- Step 1:On your Windows computer, launch the AVG antivirus software by giving a double-click on the AVG shortcut icon.
- Step 2:In the AVG main interface, click the Menu button available at the top-right corner of the screen.
- Step 3:Select the Settings option and click the Components tab from the left-side panel.
- Step 4:Click on Firewall and select Customize.
- Step 5:Choose System Rules and check whether all the tasks are selected.
- Step 6:If the tasks were disabled, enable them.
- Step 7:Next, return to the Firewall tab and again select Customize.
- Step 8:Click on Network Profiles and modify all the profiles from public to private.
- Step 9:Close the AVG program and restart your computer.
- Step 10:Relaunch the AVG software and check if the AVG install issue has been resolved.
